What happens if you try to hard wire your 2000 Ford focuz and the starter doesn't turn over??

Hello, are you saying that you cannot get the key to turn into the start position? What happened to the clutch safety switch? I'm curious about the state of of your ground to the PCM. If you can, turn the key to start, read the voltage on both wires for that connector. You should have a positive and a ground there. Positive from the ignition, ground at the PCM. Should only have a positive with the key in start according to the diagram, but check with it in "run" anyways.
