My car ignition broke so I drilled it out and now I installed a push to start system but my car won't start

I drilled out the ignition because it got stuck and it wouldn't turn back from the on position then I ordered a list to start system and I installed and when I push the button everything turns on just like it's supposed to but when I push the button again the car will not start. The steering wheel is also locked and I don't k ow if that has something to do with it
