If the compressor is bad, then it has thrown metal shavings into the dryer and expansion valve which causes warm air at idle and cold on highway. If compressor is good then the Scroll valve is sticking inside the compressor. Yourtube has videos about this valve. Buy new compressor online, you can get it for around $295-500. Expansion valve for $20 and dryer around $80
