Remote start won’t turn over

Is it the genuine Ford remote starter? Or a non-Ford product? The difference is that a Ford remote starter uses technology to bypass the Passive Anti Theft (PATS) key and start the vehicle. The aftermarket component typically uses a hidden key to resolve this issue... not ideal. Either way, testing will be required to see what's happening. The Ford system is a good one and integrates with the vehicle. Add on non-Ford components generally should be removed as they are unstable and unreliable.
