On *top - center* of the rear differential you’ll find the rear ABS speed sensor - this sensor ALSO provides necessary ‘speedometer’ inputs!!

Inspect wiring and the wire connector for any signs of damage as well.

Common mistake to replace VSS when speedometer is inop - however the real culprit is on top of the rear diff .. In fact Vehicle Speed Sensors are very reliable and rarely fail.
RABS sensor replacement should take care of the ABS issue as well.
