My 96 f250 gas burner engine quit while driving.

What is your question?

After checking under the hood once i got the truck on the side of the road i noticed smoke in the cab. There was a strong smell of burnt wire. The engine will turn over but not fire. I have power to all accessories. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
