When switched to front tank, truck stalls on throttle acceleration but idles ok.

What is your question?

Replaced fuel pump on front tank, still does same thing. Switch back to rear tank, truck operates perfect. Changed fuel filter, but that's not it because only one filter inline. There are only three lines going back too tanks, a supply, return, and vent(smog). Any ideas?
