dash board shifter lights not working

That's definitely above average mileage for one year .. Second owner doesn't matter - warranty follows the vehicle. As for no shift indicator lights - *hands-on* testing will be required to determine what has failed - I don't think they are fused separately - possibly a problem within the transmission range sensor.

Return to dealer for warranty repair.
