Professional scan test required .. For some-reason the 'glow plugs' are not functioning properly.
As a note: this engine requires a skilled, knowledgeable technician with years of experience working with this somewhat troublesome Diesel engine. There are a multitude of "known" concerns that can result in a "no start" - such as an issue with the FICM (Fuel Injector Control Module), low pressure or high pressure oil systems and fuel injectors to name a precious few. There are not many cheap repairs, and you will save a ton of trouble by finding a tech near you who is an expert with the 6.0L Ford Diesel engine.
Diesel engine *COLD START* problem: The sole purpose of the glow plugs is to aid in starting a COLD Diesel engine .. Since the engine is starting ok after it warms up - Strongly suspect the glow plugs are NOT operating correctly - after engine 'cold soak' (parked overnight) - the COLD start problem returns .. The BEST thing to do is have a *professional scan test* performed so glow plug operation can be checked - also a functional test can be performed using same professional quality scan tool. â–ªï¸https://repairpal.com/repair-shopsâ–ªï¸
