What scan tool are you talking about I have a OBD-II reader.

Stool to be able to read different modules. If you want to be able to find problems with your vehicles a lot more money needs to be invested to be able to find them. A code reader only reads generic codes in the engine module. The newer the vehicle the more information is needed.
