Get a P0720 code and light comes on and the engine shuts off and starts back up

Got a DTC code of P0720 changed out both the Input SS and the Output SS like someone told me it would be one of those but it ran fine for a few minutes and then shut off again with the same code! New at the repair due to just starting with the company so all I know is this the last guy is gone and he couldnt fix it. I know there are a lot of wires to test for grounds and hots
What makes this problem better or worse?
It seems worse when the vehicle heats up
