What would make terrible grinding noise
What is your question?
It goes in gear ok it has all forward gears and reverse but it is making a terrible grinding noise it just happened about 1/8 of a mile from my house so I turned around and drove back very very slow and turned it off I haven’t seen anything leaking

More details very helpful - does vehicle have to be in motion before grinding noise occurs?? ... Were you applying the brakes at the time? ... We’re you depressing the clutch (assume manual shift).. Good luck!
