What is your question?
2 weeks ago while on expressway, truck shut itself off, ive replaced alternator, starter, solenoid, ignition switch, and it shows no code errors. when you turn on the key all dummy and interior lights come on, it makes one loud click like you would hear if your battery were low, and thats it. Click. Truck was running great the day before. its just had a tune up, new plugs and coils, new timing belt, new radiator to transmission hoses, new radiator overflow bottle, new heater core, new radiator cap and thermostat, new front brakes and pads..
How long has your 2000 Ford F-250 Super Duty had this problem?
2 weeks, truck just turned itself off , while on expressway
i put a wrench on the large nut behind the fan and it turns counter clockwise with little effort. It does not move going clockwise. ive checked relay fuses and none look bad
i have a helper today, the click sound / vibration is in the solinoid, which i replaced yesterday
Recommend *hands-on* assistance from qualified personnel.
its froze up. too old to put a new trans and engine (325k) thanks!
Well I be damn - I was hoping I was wrong on this one! If the truck is in pretty descent shape body wise - I’d check around some of the local salvage yards just to get a price - can’t hurt to check.
unfortunately, i have affairs with my cars, so im sad to see it go.... she was a real work horse and never let me down. The body is not so good, dents and scratches from construction, totally cracked windshield, both windows dont go up or down... im gonna pull all the new parts and get a similar year... thanks though!
