What is your question?
I started my truck like I always do, then put the truck into reverse. I coasted not hitting the gas. The truck then would jolt like it was auto breaking. So, I put the truck into drive thinking that I was pushing something. The truck was auto breaking when in drive. I then put the truck into park looked around and noticed nothing unusual. So I went back into reverse, the problem didn’t return, so then I put into drive and no problem. I did look around and noticed that there was a sensor on my bumper loose.
What makes this problem better or worse?
i dont know i my gear shift is slipping or if it was the sensor

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I do not know how your truck is equipped; is there any kind of collision prevention braking system? If so, this could be a false activation. This will require testing. It may or may not have something to do with that loose sensor you found. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
