Do I have to get my 2014 f150 stx "flashed" to get my power folding mirrors to work? I installed aftermarket set.

I installed after market power folding mirrors on my 2014 f150 STX which came with manual power manual folding mirrors. The turn signals and puddle lights work but the power folding does not. Do I have to take it somewhere to get it "flashed" in order for them to work? Or maybe buy something to safely do it myself? I'm new in that department.
