Cranks but won’t start, key recently quit working Could this be problem

If there is a problem with the key, it will absolutely keep the vehicle from starting. There is a chip in the key the tells the truck it is okay to start. IF the truck can not read the key then it will turn but not start, because the security system turns off spark/fuel. Sounds like a call to a mobile locksmith would be a good start.
