What is your question?
After getting new brakes I began to hear a squealing noise in the rear end. I thought it was cheap brakes. Took it in twice to have it checked out. They told me it wasn't the brakes, but probably one of the clutches in the rear end. Sounds expensive. What are they talking about and how much will it cost to fix?
What makes this problem better or worse?
It seems to be worse when its cold outside.
How long has your 2012 Ford F-150 had this problem?
6 or 7 months

Hello, get another opinion from a reputable shop near you. This sounds crazy. Perhaps it's true, but if the problem only started after having a new brakes installed, I would be focusing my attention on the brake pads at the mating surface to the brake rotors, as well as any anti-rattle clips or unintended movement in the brake caliper brackets. This is the most likely cause of squealing. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
