What is your question?
I have the 2012 , 3.5 Ecoboost . Recently I switched the exhaust from the factory to a FX flowmaster. What did I do wrong? Cuz now it is basically misfiring or similar symptoms. I did not change anything with the computer so I think it's running rich or whatever. But I did see tons of videos of them doing same thing and nothing happened. It is showing code P0305, mis on 5 now.
What makes this problem better or worse?
I haven't done anything yet on it. I really don't know what to do
How long has your 2012 Ford F-150 had this problem?
The problem just started the other day. One day I went to the store no problem. Woke up the next morning and it was doing it

Hello, I honestly do not know of a direct correlation between exhaust flow changing and an engine misfire starting. Cylinder 5 misfire would typically start due to a spark plug, coil, fuel injector or valve train issue. Or, base engine issue. I can't really imagine a direct result from changing exhaust. It could be that freer flowing exhaust has stimulated a concern to become more apparent? Too hard to know. Although I suggest that "factory" equipment eliminates variables when you have a problem, I would also say in this case that it would be better to troubleshoot and see if you can drill down to the misfire that is being recognized before doing anything else.
