My a/c in my truck has a leak in the condenser coil. Will stop leak destroy my a/c system

Hi, I'm Bogi, one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sorry to hear you are having AC issues on your 2010 F150. Stop leak may buy you some time, but is not a long term fix and can cause more issues down the road. The challenge with stop leak is that it can’t tell the difference between a opening that is supposed to be there versus one that is not. So it can clog up other important passageways in your AC system and cause other issues. Combine that with the fact that it is not a permanent fix and you will eventually need to replace your condenser anyway… I generally advise against it.
