What is your question?
The engine runs very rough at 1000 rpm on lower and sounds like a diesel. The code said the cam position sensors were bad. I replaced them but it still has the same problem. What should I try next?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Less than 1000 rpm
How long has your 2008 Ford F-150 had this problem?
a couple weeks

Hi, no, your cam position sensors are not bad. No codes will tell you a part has failed. They'll lead you to areas to focus testing on. Often times, camshaft position sensor related codes can be related to engine timing issues, or a stall caused by another component issue. As a result, replacing them would indeed have zero effect on your concern. Which engine do you have in your vehicle? Hard to go on not knowing if it's a V6 or one of 2 possible V8's.
