What is your question?
Well when I go to start the truck it is normally dead in the morning it will not do anything turn over or anything, but when I unplugged the battery and let it sit and let the sun hit it for a little bit normally it will crank but the other times it won't do nothing. And as well as once I do get it started some days I won't never have to do it again and then others I'll have to do the same process over again multiple times throughout the day the only noise I hear when I plug the battery up is the clicking noise of everything getting power again. I don't have any leaks that I am aware of. I was gave this truck by my father-in-law and mother-in-law to get back and forth from the doctors they had had to bust the window because they had locked the keys up in the truck. But as well as I have checked the cool packs there's a little loose but could it be the anti-theft system or something else my father-in-law didn't know what he was doing when he worked on the truck and I don't know what.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It's horrible when the engine is cold in your first trying to start it up first thing in the morning
How long has your 2007 Ford F-150 had this problem?
I know of a few weeks since they had told me that they was going to give us the truck and I know of a few weeks before they gave it to me that they was having the same problem

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I must admit that it is really difficult to understand what is happening, with the result of disconnecting and reconnecting the battery suddenly allowing the vehicle to start, it doesn't make much sense to me. I also believe there is a lot of unknown information here, such as breaking the window to get into the vehicle because of the locked key in the vehicle. I'm not sure how that may or may not influence any electrical or anti-theft system issues. Getting down to the basics, for a vehicle to start with an engine to crank, the battery must be fully charged and able to sustain a load. The proper programmed key must be used for the vehicle to crank it over. The vehicle must have fuel, spark and the proper amount of air coming into the engine to start. If disconnecting and reconnecting the battery seems to help somehow, I would question the integrity of those electrical connections in the first place. It is very difficult to know from where I sit how doing that could help. I definitely recommend spending time at a shop with a technician near you to share what you know and have your vehicle present to test. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
