What is your question?
Replacing a bad wiper control and headlight switch on my 2005 Ford F 150. The plug on the NEW SWITCH is male as is all the ones I have seen for sale (no help from local dealers). The new one I got has male connection instead of female like the old one is. No help from any outside source I have tried either. I either need an adaptor or a properly made switch. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. This is kind of bizarre - a part is a part; there is no "adapter" for this component. Where did you source this "new" switch from? The multifunction switch which controls wiper operation handles high beams – but not headlights. The headlights which is separate. If you are getting the new multifunction switch from a dealership - I cannot imagine a concern. But from an unknown source - consider that source and the quality of part.
