What is your question?
When accelerating at times my truck will kinda sputter. Doesn't do it all the time. Haven't received any codes or maintance lights.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing really. Doesn’t happen all the time.
How long has your 2005 Ford F-150 had this problem?
Off and on a couple months

Hello, Intermittent sputtering on acceleration can indicate fuel, ignition, or emission system issues. Of important note, the engine in your vehicle is known for a cracked EGR tube, which causes a leak between the exhaust system and the intake manifold. This would typically cause the check engine light to illuminate. Another thing to consider is fuel quality and maintenance practices. If you are getting fuel at a new gas station, consider if the problem started at the same time. Also, if maintenance is not up to date, consider completing missed maintenance such as replacement spark plugs and fuel filters (as indicated in your owners manual). Finally, the spark plugs for the early modular engines were constantly breaking and ejecting, so pull your coils and inspect those. If you have one that will not come out or breaks, contact a professional to extract it.
