What is your question?
I have a 2005 Ford F-150 with a 4.2L V6 engine and 135,000 miles. It was throwing a P0191 code so I replaced the fuel pressure sensor, fuel pump driver module, installed a new battery and verified that the fuel pump fuse was not blown. The truck started with difficulty but lacked power when accelerating. So I cleaned the MAF sensor and installed a new air filter. However, now the truck starts but immediately stalls out. While the check engine light is no longer on, the dashboard displays a "check gauges" warning. I'm uncertain about the next steps to take.
How long has your 2005 Ford F-150 had this problem?
A few weeks

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! It sounds like you're doing a great job figuring it out on your own, but we're always happy to help! It sounds like there could be a few things causing your issue. First, check the fuel pressure to ensure it's within the correct range for your engine. Next, inspect the throttle body and idle air control valve for blockages or malfunctions. Additionally, verify the integrity of the vacuum lines and hoses. Finally, consider scanning for any pending trouble codes that might not trigger the check engine light but could provide clues to the issue. I hope this helps point you in the right direction!
