What is your question?
Pan bolts from middle to rear of pan have oil on them but it doesn't leak onto drive way. Drove it for about 2 months before the pan started leaking the first time. Motor was built by Promar. I put first pan gasket on and torque to spec. Got a friend that has a shop to put another pan gasket on but it's leaking too.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Not really sure
How long has your 2005 Ford F-150 had this problem?

Hello, you didn't disclose which engine is in your F150, but it's all about mating surfaces. First, do a leak test by cleaning the wet surfaces thoroughly, and adding dye to the engine oil, checking it when it's wet again with a black light to see if the wetness is traveling from somewhere other than what seems obvious. If you confirm it is from the pan gasket area, then inspect the mating surfaces very carefully upon disassembly, checking for anything that may be causing the leak to reoccur. There is also a proper sequence to tightening the bolts -- you'll need a shop manual to see the diagram to install the bolts and torque them to the proper specification in the proper order. This is very important.
It’s a 5.4 with supercharger. Also if the rear main seal was leaking wouldn’t I see oil on back of engine and flywheel? I took the dust cover off and it is dry.
Same answer applies. Follow the sequence of tightening the bolts as directed in the manual, to the proper torque specification. My guess is that this is what went wrong. I never suggested rear main seal concerns.
