The little wrench light came on and the pickup ran rough. I cut it off and then restarted it and it ran ok. It has happened twice. Any idea what's happening and what it will cost to have it fixed?

you need to have the vehicle scanned for trouble codes in the pcm.More than likely a throttle body concern or throttle position sensor if it is a 5.4l engine.if dtc p2135 is present and you have a 4.6 engine,you will need a throttle body because the tp sensor is built into it.5.4 engine tp sensors are replaceable.
I have NO IDEA how this site works. It looks as though it could be quit useful, but if you can't get an answer than it is useless. I have the same problem and I hope I find an answer son.
