Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. There are many possible causes to your air conditioning system not turning on. More than I could list here, honestly. Hands on assessment of your vehicle eliminates most concerns and narrows it down to what makes sense to check. But, since we're here online -- I'll give you some high level things to think about. 1) Is there refrigerant in the system at the proper amount? 2) Does the climate control system and its controls appear to work when adjusting? 3) Do the engine cooling fans turn on when needed? Once we learn about refrigerant charge, climate control system operation and if the cooling fans work, there will be next steps to check things.
