Why does my 2003 Ford F150 make a ticking noise when I put my foot on the gas?

It never occurs when I’m idle, it sounds like it’s either coming from the bottom or from the back. Check engine light is not on. But I am due for an oil change in a couple miles, it could be a valve tap, could br an exhaust leak, I’m not entirely sure

It comes and goes, worse when it’s hot
