What is your question?
truck stopped, gauges wild, theft light blinking, door locks crazy, disconnect battery overnight, connect this morning & starts up. No idiot lights at all, one time loocks up down up then stay down. Gauges work ok, drive around 10 min. shut off, go back out to start & now gauges inop, actually, whole dash inop. turns over but no start. Door locks bezerk again. Forgot that horn blared every time key turned on. I disconnected this morning, didn't reconnect yet.
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, your experience of the gauges fluctuating, theft light blinking, door locks crazy -- it sounds like the battery became unexpectedly low in charge, either due to a lack of charging output from the charging system, or due to a faulty battery in the first place. When this happens, and your vehicle's reference voltage goes too low, different electronics malfunction and your vehicle can stall. Start by charging and testing your battery. Ensure a good battery is in the vehicle. Then check the charging system to ensure the proper output is present. I think if you just do those things, you'll have the answer to your concern become apparent.
