Hi, have you checked the fuel cut off inertia switch that all Ford's are equipped with? This is designed to cut off fuel supply when an accident occurs. Sometimes it can be compromised for other reasons - important to check here first. The switch may be located in the passenger front kick panel area...but check your owners manual to be sure. Also, check fuse # 16 which is for the data link connector -- and shares the power point power circuit protection. Make sure this fuse is good and the scan tool should work, although fuel pressure and fuel system concerns don't generally show here.
