What is your question?
1999 f150 4.6l with the 4r70w transmission. truck ran great yesterday and today it is much colder and started having this issue. never shifted into overdrive and came to a stop light and it was idling at 1500 rpms, normal being 800 rpms. found a parking lot and put the truck into neutral and the rpms jumped up to 3000. turned the truck off and waited a little, while waiting I checked the codes and no codes were present. started the truck after 15 minutes and ran normal. shifted fine and then I hit a stop light and it started over again, hit another stop light and the truck never shifted again till I stopped and waited.
