i bought my truck about 8 months ago and i have never been able to get a straight answer on this no matter who i have talked to. i have fixed everything that was wrong with the truck but this and i cant figure out what to do about it. my check engine light is on for a tourque conveterter circuit malfuction. is this an internal part or external? i would like to get this fixed asap as my truck is up for a nys inspection. can anyone point me in the right direction please

Internal part. Testing really should be done, but most likely, the torque converter solenoid or clutch is failing. You may get yourself into transmission overhaul when all the testing is said and done.
