Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Whoa! We need to figure out what's irritating the poor F-150! It might be your wheel bearings. Worn or improperly greased bearings can cause a lot of heat. Check them for wear and make sure they’re well lubricated. If they look bad, it’s time to replace them. Another thing could be the hub assembly or the axle; make sure everything is aligned and not causing friction. Even if the brakes are backed off, a stuck parking brake or caliper can still generate heat, so double-check those too. If you’ve done all this and it’s still an issue, it might be worth having a mechanic give it a once-over. Stay cool, and let me know how it goes!
