recharging ac system

Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump, for at least 30 minutes. With the system still in a vacuum, add the appropriate amount of refrigerant and refrigerant oil as specified by Ford. I would also add some fluorescent dye to assist in finding leaks in the future. If you do not have the equipment to do this, I suggest you take it a shop that does. Good Luck
