94' f 150 4x4 has a shifting problem.Ocasionally when I'm driving down the road it shifts hard,the rpm's go up to around 3000 then it shifts hard.anybody had this problem?

Slipping is the result of worn material or a torn seal or sticky valve body. If the fluid is full you are looking at removal and rebuild of the transmission. The hard shift is from the computer adjusting the pressure up to counter the slipping. Most likely gonna need a complete rebuild based on the age of the truck.
Thanks for the reply.I think I got ripped off!!I had it rebuilt by AAMCO in Fridley Mn.Cost- $3000.00.It acts the same way as it did when they supposedly rebuilt it.Thank anyway.Lawyer might be able to help me also
