overdrive light is flashing on the end of shifter on column.

the truck has only 44,000 miles and always babied. The truck will start right up but as soon as you accelerate more then 10% of the throttle it starts missing and loses all power then the overdrive light starts flashing. I then turn truck off and restart rund fine until i give it more then 10% throttle then it does it all over again. I changed cap and roter button did not help at all.
What makes this problem better or worse?
giving it more then 10% throttle.
