what is the right way to replace the oil pump
What is your question?
the oil presure was fine then it would lose presure momentarily,but know i have no oil presure at all

Have someone check the oil pump drive shaft or the oil pump. The timing gear can fall apart and clog the oil pickup causing the shaft to break.

I would strongly suggest a manual gauge to check the oil pressure if you have not done it already.

You can also check the oil sending unit on the driver side after the distributor. You will have to take your motor mounts bolts and and raise the engine to get the oil pan off.
