What is your question?
There is a plastic rod that connects the key cylinder with the ignition switch. It is broke and will not turn the truck off. I have the steering column torn apart. I have replaced both the key cylinder and the electrical switch. In the process I found that the white plastic rod will not pull back to turn the electrical switch off
What makes this problem better or worse?
Nothing. If I manually push/pull electrical switch it works. But the key cylinder only starts the vehicle now. It will not shut it off
How long has your 1993 Ford F-150 had this problem?
Just happened
