What years will the auotmatic trans 4x4

fordenthusists.com...they can help you..I have a 87 and a lot of trannys will work..if yours is overdrive,,there just called the ford aod transmission. plus you need to know what your transfer case is..it should be a 206 new process, your tranny has the number on its side..should be like em46e...something like that..I know 87-92 works fine..you can also install a c-6 three speed automatic, which I did, but I wouldnt..engine runs much higher and my mpgs went from 20 to 10 hope I helped, I know the tranny will fit a 4.9 liter (300-6) a 5.0 and a 5.8 ford engine... that website is a good site, where I got my info from...good luck...
