What ideas could cause my car not to start after water pump replacement?

I have a 2016 Ford Explorer Limited 3.5l. I had a leak in my water pump. Car was running fine prior. We replaced the water pump on our own. Now my car wont start at all. We plugged everything back in properly. When we went to start the car It would click and completely turn everything black and come back on like you would just slightly turn it on. No acting like it wants to crank or anything. So any ideas?
