2011 Ford Passenger speaker makes high frequency noise even with the radio off

This problem started yesterday, was gone this morning. I drove over a railroad track and high frequency noise was back.
Noise is present as soon as key is turned on prior to engine turning over.
Car is a 2011 Ford Explorer XLT AWD
Could this be a grounding issue? I heard that there is a harness on the floor of the passenger side.
The sound seems to come from the passenger side, dash and speaker.
The vehicle runs great - very frustrating problem !!!
