What is your question?
On finally assembly of my 8.8 IRS axel, I reused the old oil slinger that was originally in my case. I took note that it was deformed slightly by what looked like the end of the pinion flange that rides on top of it. I tried my best to make the flange fit in as I torqued the pinion nut. I used a solid spacer so I only took it down to 150 ft lbs. If it didn't seat in that old groove cold that slight deviation cause a vibration at highway speed? From my research it is the sound bad U-joints or an incorrect pinion angle would make. I installed a brand new drive shaft so U-joints are not in question.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Reaching 75mph. Coasting makes it louder

Although I can't be sure, I don't think the slinger would cause a vibration. Only component balance issues would - drive shaft - joints - even wheels and tires. If coasting makes the concern more accentuated, I think it could be differential and pinion related. What about the CV joints on the rear axles?
