Where is the transmission fluid stick 2008 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer under the hoods

There is no trans dipstick for the 5R55S. The transmission is sealed and they claim it "never" needs maintenance. To check fluid level: 1. Start your truck. 2. Get under the vehicle and remove the big bolt plug in the trans pan 3. If there is a small fluid stream coming out of your tranny hole, then it's good to go. 4. If there is No fluid coming out then you need to add fluid until you see that small stream. ***I use a small 2 gallon hand pump sprayer. The end of the wand fits perfectly in that hole, making it easier to add fluid. Without the sprayer I had to jack it up and put in on jack stands.***
