My defrost and heater don't work in my explorer. Where is the fuses located

You'll need to obtain an owners manual that lists fuses and their locations. In reviewing the different fuse boxes and power distribution boxes of the vehicle, I can tell you that the only one that affects the control panel entirely also shares circuit protection of the powertrain control module (PCM) which operates the engine. So, if your engine starts and runs well, this fuse is not blown. There are a couple other fuses for specific functions, like rear defrost operation and the air conditioning clutch operation - but this will not prevent system functionality. Sounds like some diagnostic testing is needed to find out what's really going on with your Explorer.
