The recall info can be verified by calling the Ford Dealership and checking your VIN code. Then they can tell you what has been done and/or not done. As for the wrong type of fluid, at 122k I think you may need a little deeper solution. If you are experiencing slipping and hard reverse engagement, you may need some repair. Any check engine lights? That will really help you find out what part of the transmission needs help. here are some shops: https://repairpal.com/ford-repair-in-globe-arizona
The owner program 04B22 to add an additive to the transmission fluid expired on December 31, 2005. You can of course still have your VIN checked to see if this was done - and I suppose this could give you clues as to what could be wrong with your vehicle. However, the relevance of such a thing is quite diminished as this was 5 1/2 years ago. However, it doesn't give you any real solution. Your concern can be an internal mechanical concern, or a valve body / solenoid related concern. Dan is right on with his suggestions.
