Why are my high beams are stuck in the ON position?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. When you say they are stuck in the on position, are you saying that the high beams are on when they are not selected? This would surprise me. Are you saying the low beams do not work so you are choosing the high beams instead for now? If low beam headlights do not work, either both bulbs are burned out or there could be a problem with the headlight switch.
