I have a 2003 Ford Explorer, how do I get rid of the door ajar light?

Hello, a door ajar warning light is on due to one of the door switches in a door latch showing that a door is "open" when it's not. First I would try to spray penetrant into each door latch to possibly loosen a binding switch. Open and close each door many times after spraying in penetrant. If that doesn't help, use of a diagnostic tool will be needed to find out which door is showing as "open" so you can put extra attention to that door latch, and possibly perform needed repairs.
