Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Why did the key need to be programmed? It concerns me that you went to program the key and I don't understand why you would need to program a key unless you had a key replaced. If you have a known good, fully charged battery, a known good starter motor, properly programmed keys and you've verified all fuses are intact and not blown - the other thing to look at is the transmission shift lever switch.
