Vehicle run for two seconds and then cut off will not run again until next day for two seconds

Had new engine put in it trying to start it up but ignition cylinder switch stuck in on position could that causes the vehicle not to run

How long has your 2002 Ford Explorer had this problem?

Setup for couple of years decided to put new motor in after that try start engine key stuck on while cranking it
