So my car was acting funny it gave the code for the downstream o2 sensor under the driver side. I looked under an the wires were completely unattached from the harness my question is, what color goes to what color on the standard 4 pin pigtail I purchased?
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, what engine is your 2002 Explorer equipped with? Is this bank one or bank two downstream sensor? I can tell you red with yellow tracer is your power supplied in start and run - goes to pin #1. Gray with red tracer is signal return, pin 3. The others will differ - so share more specific model and engine information.
